WE ARE GRATEFUL FOR YOU

Did you know the typical cost to rehabilitate just one wild bird can be $80 to $250? Expenses vary based on season, medical needs and length of stay at the facility, but all animals require daily care. Babies are expensive and baby birds are no exception! An orphaned youngster will usually stay with us for 3-6 weeks and often costs over $250 to rehabilitate. During the 2020 season, approximately 1,550 birds were cared for at Wild Bird Rescue & Rehab.
